Meet Bryce

Mr. Corsaut is an associate in the Houston office. His practice primarily includes the representation of school districts as well as other public and private sector employers in civil rights and employment matters. Mr. Corsaut routinely consults with employers to develop proactive and preventive practices to avoid the courthouse. He enjoys pre-litigation strategies and negotiations, and he has successfully settled numerous matters prior to any court involvement. When litigation arises, Mr. Corsaut enjoys zealously representing employers inside and outside the courtroom. He has extensive experience in all litigation stages including, but not limited to, drafting pleadings, managing extensive document collection and other discovery efforts, deposing witnesses, arguing in motion hearings, mediating and negotiating settlements, and working on appeals. Mr. Corsaut most often defends employers from complaints of unlawful harassment, discrimination, and retaliation before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission, and Texas state and federal courts. He has successfully defended cases concerning claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, and other related common law and statutory causes of action. In addition, he has successfully defended cases regarding contract disputes and tort claims.

Mr. Corsaut received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. In 2010, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Corsaut clerked for the Honorable Caroline E. Baker in the 151st Judicial District Court of Harris County, the Honorable Lamar McCorkle in the 133rd Judicial District Court of Harris County, and Levine & Associates, P.C., a boutique labor and employment firm. Before joining the firm, Mr. Corsaut practiced at Pogach & Trachtenberg PLLC and Weycer, Kaplan, Pulaski & Zuber, P.C.

Mr. Corsaut is a member of the State Bar of Texas School Law Section, the State Bar of Texas Labor & Employment Law Section, the State Bar of Texas LGBT Law Section, and the State Bar of Texas Appellate Section. He is also a member of the Harris County Democratic Lawyers Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the Houston Association of Women Attorneys, and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. In addition to his work with employers, Mr. Corsaut also provides pro bono services to program participants as an active volunteer with the Houston Volunteer Lawyers.
