Jacqueline Ibarra

Ms. Ibarra is an associate in the Houston office. Her practice focuses on representing school districts and private sector entities.

Ms. Ibarra earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2016 and received her Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2024. As an undergraduate, Ms. Ibarra volunteered with an after-school program, assisting elementary students in the Houston area with homework and literacy development. She then worked as a legal assistant for a Texas school district, supporting the in-house General Counsel. During law school, she worked as a legal assistant, providing consistent support to the governing boards of Municipal Utility Districts and assisting with the implementation of policies and processes to ensure regulatory compliance.

With a career dedicated to serving public institutions, Ms. Ibarra has developed an interest and deep understanding of the legal frameworks governing governmental bodies. She has successfully supported school districts and other political subdivisions on a variety of legal matters, ranging from open government compliance to navigating complex public records requests under state law.

When she isn’t working, Ms. Ibarra enjoys reading classic literature and spending time with her dog, Benji.
