MORGAN BEAM

Ms. Beam joined the firm’s Houston office in 2022 and has represented public schools in the Houston area and throughout the state since 2017. During that time, Ms. Beam has represented school boards in districts of all sizes and demographics in matters related to governance, employment, student discipline, grievances, and business transactions, including Tax Value Limitations, otherwise known as “313 Agreements”. Ms. Beam has also defended school districts and charter schools in litigation cases in both state and federal court. Ms. Beam is a  regular speaker on school law topics at statewide conferences and provides private training to school boards and administrators on various legal topics.  

Ms. Beam earned her undergraduate degree in English with magna cum laude honors from Texas A&M University, where she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Beta Kappa, and Golden Key honor societies. Ms. Beam earned her juris doctorate from the Baylor University School of Law.

Ms. Beam is the daughter of a retired school superintendent and has dozens of family members who currently serve public school students as educators, nurses, trustees, and support staff.   Ms. Beam is proud to continue her family’s tradition of service to Texas public schools by representing the legal interests of school districts and charter schools throughout the state.
